Pda Red Cell
i recently got a PCS PPC 6700 PDA POCKET PC CELL PHONE WIFI and now it will not turn on or anything any advice
When i plug it ito the wall charger it will light up the screen and i can see the sprint and a bunch of little red numbers at the bottom and it just sits there and blinks. I have tried removing the battery and doing a hard reset any other suggestions
Seriously that phone has issues. I really like the features and all that it can do but it has speaker problems, lighting problems and charging problems. I'm on my third one and I'm going to the sprint store tomorrow to see what else they have.
I hope you have insurance on your phone so you can get a new one. But if you don't the last time I had to get a new one they didnt use my sprint insurance because they said the problem was a hardware issue and they ordered me a brand new one for free. But that was two months ago and now I have a screeching problem on the phone...
Call Sprint or go to the store and see what they can do but you may just end up like me with three different replacements...

motorola razr v3 connect to internet via bluetooth?
I have a motorola razr v3 bluetooth enable Tmobile. I have a bluetooth adapter on my laptop. I have wireless internet. I already made connection from my bluetooth laptop to my cellphone but the thing is that I don't know how to get to the internet on my motorola razr V3. On my bluetooth laptop, it says that connetion if made but where do I input my cellphone information into my ISP laptop?
Bluetooth is used for simple data transfers between the phone and the PC (songs, address book, backup, etc.)
You need to use your service provider for internet access.
What is the point of accessing the Web from a phone that is 3 feet from your computer any how.

Do I HAVE to have a quad band cell phone?
I am a Cingular customer, and I have recently been looking for a "texting" type of cell phone since it seems thats all I do. However, I'm really disappointed in the selection Cingular offers. So I was looking on Ebay and found some older model "texting" phones (for example the LG f9100) but these phones are dual band or tri band phones, and Cingular says I have to have a quad band phone especially since I have a 3G sim card. What would happen if I were to use one of the lower band phones? (other than the obvious that the 3G wouldn't be compatable)

This is not entirely wrong. True, in the US one only needs two bands, when when a phone is triband, it is typically 900/1800/1900, which is missing the 850 band AT&T recommends for all its phones. A quadband phone has 850 Mhz as standard.
There are triband 850/1800/1900 phones that work flawlessly in the US.
A quadband phone is probably preferred, but it is not needed. If you live in an urban area, it is more than likely entirely covered by 1900 Mhz, which a Euro triband phone would have. You will most likely not get signal if you live in a rural area or if you stray too far outside the city. You may also not get good reception in buildings.

Can you make your android phone generate wifi?
Is there an app or method to make your android phone act as a wifi hotspot? I have pda net for my laptop, but was wondering if I could hook up my Wii with wifi.
Well, the answer is no. Your phone can't act as a Wi-Fi hotspot simply because the transmitter's too small. It may work if you hacked the software to do so, but it would not come out very well. Your phone can, on the other hand connect to your computer via bluetooth assuming your computer has an adapter for it and you can then create an Ad-Hoc network for your Wii to connect to, as long as you share the connection through your phone. You're better off just buying a router and using it with standard internet service, though.

why isnt my touch working on y ipod touch? PLEASE HELP?
okayy, so ik was on it lastnight on facebbook on it and the internet came off so i went on settings and connected it again, it was connecting then it froze and the sreen isnt working (touch wise) andd i can lock it and press the middle button but thats it so i cant unlock it now cos thescreen isnt working please help!!! i have only just got this ipod!
Have you tried resetting your ipod by holding down the lock and home buttons for 5 seconds?
If it still isn't working after a reset, and, as you said, brand new. you can use Apple's website to request a service. If it's faulty and under warranty, they'll replace it at no charge.

How do I make my pc totally wireless?
I have a gateway laptop with a netgear wireless card....and Verizon as my SP....what I want to know is what exactly I need,to be able to go ANYWHERE with my laptop and be able to connect to the internet?? In the car...at someone elses house...you get the picture...Be specific...cause Im kinda electronically challenged...cost...subscriptions I need...hidden costs...Thanks
you can get a 3G usb dongle or smart card from your service provider (you need to ask them). Some of them use sim cards and have an equivalent of a phone number unique to you.
Your internet reception or connection speed will depend on 3G coverage. Some of these contacts have a monthly quota of a few gigabytes (eg 5Gb download...so ask!) which might somehow limit your use.
By the way, Wimax might be widely avaible soon....its even better than 3g!
