The t-mobile sim card activation kit...does it give me a number too?

Yeah, okay, my brother gave me his old t-mobile phone. It's nice and all, he just saw one of those little pda phones and decided to get one of those. So I figure, instead of spending money on a new prepaid phone, I'll just buy the sim card from their site and slip it in the old phone and wala!

Here's the question though..and I'm sorry if it's incredibly stupid..but... will the little sim card automatically give me a new phone number? >.> It should, right? It probably does, but I just want to know for sure before I go out and buy the little card...

if you are talking about buying that 5.99 prepaid sim then yes theres an activation code that comes with it and you get a new phone number.
