What emulators work well with Joysticks and or Gaming controlers?
Recently I was cleaning out my storage and came across some childhood treasures I had all but forgotten about. I found a ton of my old NES and SNES games and the old systems. I decided to hook them up and quickly was reminded how frustrating those systems were with there constant crashes.
So I downloaded an Emulator for my PC, GREAT! BUT I really don't like useing the keypad on my keyboard to play.
So my question is: What Emulators, if any are easly compatable with a joystick or computer gaming controler???
Snes9x is an SNES emulator that is compatible with Windows and supports gamepads. It also supports save states and a many ROMS.
I have ZSNES and that does the same thing.
I had more trouble finding an NES emulator that boasted gamepad support. One search result turned up RockNES, which may have "joypad" support. I always used NESticle.
Hope this helps. Do a google search on the programs that I named up there.
